JEOMAG SHOT
The JEOMAG Shot is a downhole survey instrument used to measure the drill hole path, in a nonmagnetic environment. With the core barrel removed the JEOMAG Shot is run through the drill bit and extended into the open hole. Three 1.5m Aluminium rods attach to the DEVICE and ensure a safe “non-magnetic” distance from the drill bit. A landing collar attaches to the Aluminium rods preventing the assembly from passing through the drill bit. Each survey data point is independent of the other.
JEOMAG CORE
JEOMAG Core includes fully integrated high precision three-axis MEMS Accelerometer sensor and microprocessor based new generation Core Orientation System. It makes Inclination, Orientation and Temperature measurements with high accuracy and sensitivity. Easy-to-use interface and user friendly features helps drilling stuff to save time for down hole orientation.
